What method of cleaning is used
We use hot water extraction. This system is commonly referred to as “steam cleaning,” although no steam is actually generated. The process consists of applying a cleaning agent into the carpet pile and using water in the extractor to recover the used solution and soil.
Is there anything I should do before the cleaning crew arrives
Pickup items from the floor, a light vacuuming to remove loose soil, pets should be confined to another area of the home.
How long will it take for the carpet to dry
The amount of time for your carpet to completely dry is determined by several factors; humidity, temperature and air flow and even the carpet pile. It may take anywhere between 4-8 hours for the carpet to completely dry, depending on the aforementioned variables. Using fans in any rooms cleaned and turning your air conditioning or heating system on, depending on the time of year, can help accelerate drying time. Be sure to leave the protective blocks under furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until the carpet and/or furniture is completely dry to avoid any color transfer.
How long before I can walk on the carpet
You may walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning, but make sure the soles of your shoes are clean. Be careful when walking from damp, carpeted areas on to non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
Can all spots or stains be removed
Most stains can be removed, but there are some spills that can permanently dye carpet fibers. In that case, RCC can spot dye the stain to the original color
How often should carpets be cleaned
Generally every 12 to 18 months. This will of course vary depending of use, the number of residents, pets and amount of activity.

Why should I pay to have my carpet cleaned, I could do it myself
The potential problems that can occur from using rental and home equipment – such as yellowing, over wetting, fiber tip damage, severe re-soiling, overuse of detergents, etc. The majority of rental and home units available do not adequately clean and may actually damage the carpet.

When I bought my sofa the salesperson said it had fabric protection, can you clean it
Yes, with regular use, the protector will wear off. Scotch-gard can be applied if you would like renewed protection
How long does it take for the fabrics to dry
The typical drying time factors for furniture is the same as carpets. While the cleaning method along with optional protector application determines the drying time, typical dry time ranges from 4-8 hours.
